Find the best (and cheapest) places to stay in Scotland.
I’ve used Travel Supermarket several times to book holidays both overseas and in the UK and they’ve always found me great deals. They search across more hotel websites than most other comparison sites too.
HomeAway are a great AirBnB alternative and I have to say I prefer their website. They make the whole booking process so simple and they’ve got some absolutely beautiful rental homes listed.
I had to include the Crieff Hydro resort because it’s my favourite place to stay in central Scotland. The range of activities and facilities on offer are amazing – from spa days to mountain biking and even shooting ranges – and the rooms are fantastic. Not only that but they’re reasonably priced as well.
Get your visit to Scotland off to a great start with these recommended travel operators
Skyscanner is one of the world’s best flight booking websites and they’ve managed to make the booking process unbelieveably easy. It’s difficult to recommend any other flight service over them to be honest.
If you’re an international visitor to Scotland you’ll find the best way to explore the country is with a car, and Travel Supermarket are my go-to service to find car-hire operators. They’ll search the web for the best prices and their no-nonsense booking process means you’ll have more time to concentrate on your holiday.
If you’re travelling outside of your home country you’d be mad not to arrange travel insurance before you go. The small cost of getting cover will be outweighed a hundred times over if the unthinkable happens while you’re travelling. My advice is to get the best cover you can afford.
